New terminologies for human resources:
In recent years many of the professionals who are dedicated to human resources have proposed new ways of naming the department and moving away from that somewhat outdated vision of referring as a human resource to a person who works in a company.
Some professionals propose the change of HR to: Personnel Management, People Department, People, People & Happiness or even Happiness Department.
Human resources programs
Another recent change in the human resources departments has been programs or software specialized in people management. In recent years, most departments of people have started using HR programs such as the Factorial to manage absences, losses, payroll, contracts, flexible compensation and many more tasks that correspond to this department, with the idea of automating tasks that do not add value and save time to devote to what really matters, the happiness of employees.
